Katie blushed when Brett sat back down. She hoped the others weren't paying attention, knowing Aurora wouldn't let her live it down. She bowed her head, hoping that it would fade. "Thank you." she said to Brett.

There wasn't much to do but listen when you were mostly blind. Right now Kiera was being thoroughly entertained by the conversation. Something about Sailor Scouts and other miscellaneous jabber. The teen sipped her tea and brushed crumbs off of her dark-wash jeans and white Cami before speaking "You are lucky you know." She was talking to the one called Katie. There was no point in turning to look at her, Kiera wouldn't be able to see her anyway, so she took another sip of her tea.

Katie smiled, she didn't really feel all that lucky. Yeah she had a great job, but her dad didn't approve of her career choice. He wanted her to become a doctor, like him. They hadn't talked to each other in months. She bowed her head, her hair slid in front of her face. "Er, excuse me, i need to use the bathroom." she said moving around everybody to get out and accidently hitting the girl behind her, "I am so sorry." she said.

Kiera nodded "It's okay." She smiled, still not looking at Katie, instead turning her attention to Amelia "So what is this talk about Sailor Scouts." She turned her face so that it looked like she was actually looking at the girl, see with out seeing "I've been a very big fan of them for some time. Always wanted to be one of them."

Brett turned around to the girl who had spoken to Katie, "She's not that lucky," he grinned, "she doesn't have me as a boyfriend." He turned around and finished his food and burped quietly, "That was really good." He smiled.

Amela's eyes saw the girl, her face seemed to be split in half, complete opposites. She gasped loudly, closed her eyes, and shook her head violently trying to get rid of the image. When she opened them, it was gone. She didn't dare speak of what she say aloud.

Aurora laughed at Brett, "Obviously. I don't think she could score a guy like you." She grinned, "Perhaps a better one though."

Katie smiled at Aurora as she walked to the bathroom, she washed her face and her hands and walked back out and sat back down. "Sorry Brett, but you have to admit that that was a good one." she said with a smile. She tured to the girl behind them, "I am sorry again, I wasn't paying attention. I'm Katie by the way" she smiled.

Kiera laughed "I'm Kiera" She smiled in the girls general direction "Do you guys mind if I come sit with you guys?" Kiera took another sip of her tea "So, anything new about the scouts?"

Aurora blinked at Kiera's bold statement and stammered, "I, um, well, wait... Huh?" She darted her eyes to Brett, who was sitting fully aware of the conversation, "Um, we don't mind. Well at least I don't." She forced a grin.

Brett stared at the girls, "What? Are you guys talking about that dorky cartoon...?" He laughed loudly, his head went back and his shoulders bounced up and down. "You...girls...are...hilarious!" He was able to say through the burst of laughter.

Katie looked at her watch, "Oh ummmm me and Brett need to be getting back" she said, getting up and grabbing her bag. She turned to her Aurora, "I'll call you later." she said, grabbing Brett and pulling him out the door.

Kiera waved good bye and walked over to the new open seats. The girl kept a hand out in front of her making sure she would not hit something without success, Kiera ran into a chair stubbing her toe and almost spilling her tea. Kiera blushed "Oh, dear I'm such a clutz."

Aurora smiled, "Its okay, but hey, watch what you say around people. He doesn't know about us. Loud-mouth over here," she nudged Amela, "blurted out stuff about my cousin. You don't want to get experimented on do you?!"

Brett stumbled as Katie forcibly dragged him out of the cafe, "Is that all you girls talk about is the Sailor Luna anime? How exciting can it possibly be?"

Katie smacked him upside the head and showed him her watch, "We have exactly 2 minutes to be back at the office or Clair is going to kill us." she said, stopping, "Oh, no!!" she exclaimed, "We forgot Clair again."

Kiera tilted her head "The Scouts are real?" she had managed to find a seat. Kiera liked a good story, she sighed " I would love to meet them."

Aurora put her hand to her face and shook her head slowly, "Yep. Or have you forgotten you're one of them?" She slid her hand down her face, causing the skin to stretch. She sighed loudly, This is gonna be a long day....

Brett gave Katie a sideways smile before he took off at a run and called back to her, "You'll be late but not me!"

"M-me? really?" Kiera had completely forgotten about her tea by now. She looked away "No, I couldn't, not someone like me." She looked back at Aurora, a sad smile on her face "Ku might be but not me." She laughed more to herself.
