Clair flipped through her translation guide, desparately trying to remember her "words" and these "words" sounded like a load of gibberish to Clair. She smiled happily when she found out what she had said. Ahah! Shes going to take the job! Clair then looked for what she was going to say next. "Thankyou!" clair chimmed. "I'll have set up everything four you." Clair practically bit her tongue when she noticed she had said the wrong thing. "I the couple of next days, I'll have someone pick you up. For now, I've got to get going, goodbye." Clair then hung up the phone and situated herself on her couch. It was about time she got to speak to her, she didn't seem so out of the ordinary but maybe once she met her in person there would be something interesting about her. Now she was thinking about calling this Ami girl but she wasn't too sure just yet.

**Usagi was listening to everyone talk then she turned to Ayla. "No, thats why I'm asking you guys." She wasn't too worried about figuring it out, she could always catch it on tv later. But for now Usagi was just trying to spark conversation. She shifted her position on the floor and crossed her legs. When were these scouts going to show?

Setsuna nodded silently to herself and then she too hung up the phone. She slid her cell back into her coat pocket. Perhaps this would be something interesting to mention at the meeting later. Not only that but it may also come in handy for finding out more information about the moon. Setsuna went back into the living room where the rest of the girls were and went to her seat on the couch again. "Sorry about that everyone." she exclaimed. "It was a business call." Setsuna felt old saying that. A business call wasn't exactly what teenagers were into. The thought made her chuckle a bit, of teenagers with suits and brief cases, taking business calls. [/size] |

"So Setsuna, how are you doing?" Rei asked. Rei was eating her sixth cookie. 'I wounder when the rest are going to show up. Rei reached for her soda, she picked it up and took a sip to find out that she did not have anymore. So she got up and walked to the trash can, then back to her seat. she reach for a new soda and opened it. When she opened it she took a sip and set it down. "I will be right back." Rei said as she got up and walked to the bathroom.
Mitsuki looked at Rei walk down to the bathroom. She reached down to her soda and drank some of it, she put it back and took a cookie. She wanted to see why Rei only ate the cookies so far. When she took a bit she fell in love. 'Wow...theses are amazing.' She said to herself. 'No wonder Rei has eaten six of them.' She thought. "So what you guys did this week." She asked. she was getting tired of nobody talking. 'If no one wants to talk i will make them.' She thought.

Makoto grabbed a handful of chips and started munching on them, watching everyone, "While we're waiting on the others, why don't we do something?" She pursed her lips together and put a finger up to them while she thought of suggestions, "Why not play a game?"

Chibi-Usa started to grow excited at the mention of Hotaru coming to see no one but her. She headed toward Ami, her stomach was growling, increasing in audibility with each growing minute. "Ami, could I have those cookies you promised me?"

Andari sat on the couch, watching her best friend walk away from Usagi and the others, she looks like a wreck... "Hey Ayla, come here! I wasn't done talking to you yet." She teased. She got up and walked over to her, assuming that she hadn't heard her. Putting her arm up around her shoulders, "Are you okay?"

Saki had heard about the slumber party and planned to go, after receiving a timid invitation from Usagi. Despite wanting to go, she knew it would be uncomfortable around her enemies. Have to gain their trust somehow... Right? After glancing in the mirror one last time, she grabbed her duffel bag and headed out of the door, and down the block, she didn't live that far and soon she was knocking on Ami's door.

Michiru smiled softly at Hotaru, "You sure you got everything?" As she nodded in confirmation, she looked to Haruka, "I guess we're all set. I'm sure the girls are tired of waiting on us." She grabbed her bag and headed out to the car.

Hotaru nodded, grabbed her bag and followed Haruka and Michiru. She didn't want to admit that she was excited to see everybody.

Ami smiled,"Oh course Chibi-usa, Let me go get them for you" She got up and walked to a cabinet, she grabbed the cookies and walked back into the living room. She handed them to Chibi-usa, but before she could say another word, there was a knock on her door. She answered it, findind Saki standing there, "Oh hey, come on in, you can put your things with everyone elses up in my room. It's up the stairs and first room to your right" she said with a smile. She walked back into the living room, "Saki's here." she said. She looked at Setsuna, "Hey Setsuna, do you know when the others will be getting here?" she asked.

Ayla blushed when Andari put her arm around her, " Yeah, ummmm, I'm fine." she said hesitating for a second, Andari could usually tell when something was bothering her. Truth was, was that she was worried about Landon. He hadn't been acting the same the last time she talked to him, he acted as if he didn't want to talk to her anymore.

Landon and Alexia got their food and began to eat it. Landon smiled at her, "So do you have any plans for tonight?" he asked her. Alexia blushed, "Nope, why? Do you want to go do something?" she asked shly. Landon nodded, "There was this movie i was wanting to go see, do you wanna come?" he asked her. She blushed again and nodded, "Sure" she said. It was obvious that Landon was still hung-up on that other girl, Andari. But he was cute, and Alexia wasn't to picky.

*Usagi just kinda kept an eye on everyone for a little bit until Makoto mentioned a game. Her head perked up a bit and she smiled. "Yeah, Makoto, thats a great idea!" Usagi was surprised that she wasn't eating so many goodies, was she really that anxious? She shrugged and took a handful of pretzals and chips. They crunched in her mouth loudly and bits flew out of her mouth when she talked. "Whats there to play?" she asked, looking at Ami then back at Makoto.

**Clair made the decision to call up this young girl. She may be smart but she was still a teenager. This Ami girl was probably interested in boys, fashion, and looking good and just so happened to be really smart. Clair paused for a moment before picking up the telephone, she didn't want to frighten her. What if she thought she was a creep? Clair shook the feeling and dialed the number. Heck, what if this was a wrong number in this file and she ended up speaking with a weirdo? The phone was ringing and Clair believed this to be the girls house number.

Ami heard the phone ring, It's probably mom calling to check on everything. she thought. She got up, walked to the hall, where the phone was and answered in, "Hello, Mizuno residence." she said into the receiver.

Clair smiled, it was the young girls mother, thank god. "Ah, yes." She said softly. "Hello, my name is Clair harley, may I speak with Ami Mizuno, please?" she asked her. Clair was curious about Ami, just as much as she was about Setsuna, but for no particular reason, it was odd.

Clair gasped. Oh my, this girl sounds so mature. "Ah yes, I'm Clair Harley, scientist working for NASA in America." Clair could tell she was getting better at speaking her Japanese, this made things a bit easier for her. "We have you on file here, which I find surprising considering your age but, I'd like to offer you a position to help in our studies about the Moon." Clair tried to make things as simple as possible for the girl, just incase she wasn't too sure about what was going on. "I'm sure you've heard of the Lunar expedition, its broadcasting all over the world." She flipped through several pages of her guide and continued to speak. "I've looked through you file and you seem to fit many qualities needed for our research and perhaps with a younger persons opinion, we can better determine our answers. Are you interested?"

Ami was shocked, They want me to help with this project in Americashe thought. Her english wasn't good, but people could understand her. She was glad she took a few english classes. In english, she said, "Yes, i would be interested in this. Could you send information to me? I would have to talk with my parents of course." she asked. She was sure that the others were wondering what was taking her so long. But if she helped on this, she could gather information for the scouts.

Clair was surprised that Ami spoke some slight English. This girl to incredible She nodded to herself and spoke in Japanese. "Yes, information, of course." She gathered her thoughts for a moment. "There isn't a whole lot I'm aloud to tell you until I know your going to be researching with us." she told her. "But if you take the position, you will be helping me research about possible life of the moon. There are several other scientists already being apart of the investigation and I think you are the last one needed. I need to go but call me again once you've spoken with you parents at 4105637492."

Chibi-usa's eyes lit up as Ami handed her the bag of cookies, she popped a few in her mouth and melted. It had been awhile since she could eat openly around Usagi without her drooling over her or having to share. "Thanks Ami," she said as she went and sat down near Usagi, teasing her with them.

Andari frowned, "Why not talk to him first?" She laughed at the thought of seeing Ayla chasing after Landon. The laughter soon died as she was hit with the thought that she hadn't heard from Elliot in a while. She bit her lower lip and decided to change the subject, "So why do you think she-" she motioned to Saki, "is here?"

"Of course Miss. Harley, I will call you as soon as i do. Goodbye." she said in Japanaese this time. It was surprising that an American could speak somewhat fluent Japanese. She walked back into the living room. She looked at Makoto, "It was a personal call." she said with a smile. She hated keeping things from the others, but she figrued she'd wait till after she learned more about it.

Ayla blushed, "Well i just don't want to be a bother, i know that he has been talking to another girl." she said. When Andari mentioned Saki, she glanced at her and shrugged. "I don't know. I don't really trust all that much, but if Usagi thinks she's alright, i guess she's fine." she said.

Usagi glared at Chibi-Usa and crossed her arms. "So what if you have your own cookies..." she snapped. "There are plenty more...." Usagi pointed to the snack table, there were barely any left. "Hey, what happened to all of them? Rei, that pig!" she whinned. "And I didn't get any." Usagi frowned.
